Hello!
Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Clark Finley Mills, and I am a sculptor and fabricator based in Chicago. I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in December 2022 with a focus in sculpture.
Once I had completed college, I worked with the incredible team of sculptors at the Rabbit hOle museum in Kansas City to construct dozens of sculptures based on children’s literature. This experience was extremely valuable to me, as it formed the foundation of my professional career and taught me an abundance of skills I continue to use in my practice.
After nearly two years with the Rabbit hOle, I moved back to Chicago in March of 2025. Alongside missing Chicago, the motivations for this move were born from two specific opportunities. The first was to work as a contract fabricator with HAZE Labs in collaboration with Future Galerie on an exciting new exhibit space. While project specifics remain under my NDA, I am able to share that this project was highly rewarding and satisfying for me professionally. The second opportunity was to work with artist Margot McMahon as a sculptural assistant. Equally engaging for its own unique reasons, this position introduced me to numerous gallery spaces in which we have displayed exhibits and allowed for creative experimentation to which I am very grateful.
In addition to my professional practice, I have recently enjoyed learning guitar, utilizing molding and casting to make custom toys, and re-exploring Chicago.
Thanks again for visiting my page!
